SEP Celebration

September 20, is Mabon, the Fall equinox. Mabon celebrates the autumn equinox, the harvest, and the balance of nature. In the Northern hemisphere, there are equal hours of daylight and dark. After Mabon, the days get shorter each day until the Winter Solstice. I like ideas and images in this post about celebrating Mabon (be warned, there are so many ads it’s hard to read). This post from the Busy Pagan offers good background info on Mabon, correspondences, and links to more ideas. My favorite is the craft idea to create a cornucopia (no instructions on this site but I added some in the Craft section here). Some other ideas from the Wise Ash Witch Blog include apple picking and a nature walk, plus recipes.
