AUG ’25: Spirit Guide & Craft
In June and July I discussed some solar animal guides (lions, dragons, phoenix). Although I have one main spirit guide, I also reach out to others based on the season or occasion. If you don’t have a spirit guide, try seeking one this month. I hope you gain some new insights. I really connect with animals so that’s where my spirit guide ideas are focused but you may find non-animal spirit guides.

Apply sunscreen daily
I’m back to the topic of protecting yourself from UV rays while enjoying the summer sun. Sunscreens can contain unwanted chemicals. This site helps you find the safest sun screens. Martha Stewart is not a Pagan to my knowledge, but she comes up with some great craft ideas. Here’s a collection of her ideas for heat waves and rainy days. The leather trimmed lanterns and terra cotta bud vases would be nice additions to a summer altar. I’m a knitter, but her crochet summer bags look easy and practical. If you’re feeling ambitious, try the sun print pillows or dip-dyed T-shirts.
