Use the colors of the season – yellow, orange, red, plus bright blue and green. Be sure to include solar symbols. Remember the sun symbol, a circle with a dot in the center. This is any easy one to create, even for the non-artistic. This site has some terrific ideas for summer symbols, rituals, and altars. Other items for the alter might include summer flowers, like sunflowers, marigolds, and poppies, fruits and vegetables from you own harvest, grains, or symbols of your work.
